Interstate Man of Mystery

As I approach another travel weekend, I’m thinking about how much I’ve travel this Spring. I realized I’ve stayed in 4 different states. I live in Florida. So, that counts. I’ve traveled to California twice. I stayed the night in Alabama a few times. So I count that as well. And I have stayed in Indiana; which is where I’m headed to again this weekend.

If you count the states I traveled through on my way to California and Indiana, that adds 3 more states for a total of 7. I was in Nevada to and from California. And I passed through Kentucky and Tennessee a few times on my drives to and from Indiana.

I feel so Blessed because all of that travel was to be with my best friend and family. California and Indiana have become just as much my home as Florida is. None of this travel was for business. It was always to be with the people I love most. I’m so grateful to be able to travel as often as I have been. It’s something I don’t take for granted.

As of now, this weekend’s trip is my last for a bit. I don’t have any plans to travel in June. I may go up to Indiana in July. There is a possibility of a California trip in August. And I do plan to go to California in November. I never imagined I’d be doing anything like this a few years ago. It’s exciting! I love being with everyone and the experiences I’ve been having make my heart all the more happier.

I do hope to travel to a few other places in the coming years as well. I think I’ve talked about trips to the Carolinas again. And to see a friend in Georgia. I’ve all but written off international travel, though. It’s on the bucket list. But as long as I’m not alone, I probably won’t ever actually do it. I don’t have anyone who would want to join me anyway…hehehe

I think that’s a good thing because there is so much of the USA to still see. A lot of what I’ve seen since my first trip to California to see Cherie in 2024 I would never have seen if it weren’t for our friendship. There are places here in Florida I wouldn’t have seen if my parents didn’t come for visits a few times a year. And there are even places in Indiana I’ve only been to because it’s now a place I visit instead of live in.

Also, there are many things I’ve gotten to see along my drives to and from Indiana these past few years that I would never have seen had I not traveled. There is plenty to add to a list of places to stop along that route someday…hehehe

I decided to wait until I get back next week before I write up my entries about our May vacation and work on my vlog. I want to be able to focus on that. With my upcoming travel, this weekend has been on my mind…hehehe I need to clear my mind after the weekend before I’ll be ready to write about our vacation. I keep thinking about the vacation and all that we experienced. I’m just not ready to write and edit the vlog footage.

I’ve also been working on NoteSprout. The headspace for that is different than writing. So I am able to work on that in between things. Especially since the grunt work is being done by Claude Code. I’ve developed a great workflow where I journal, or write up what I’m working on, by hand. I then feed the Claude chat with the details of what I’ve decided should happen. It sometimes ask clarifying questions. Then it gives a well formed prompt I can feed to Claude Code to do the actual coding. I read through the prompt before I execute it, of course. This flow has proven to produce exactly what I’m expecting. The app I’m building is really shaping up and growing well 🌱

And the Bible study for this week is going well ❤️ I’m grateful for the fellowship I have with Cherie and the study book we are using this year 🥹

This Interstate Man of Mystery is looking forward to catching up on things in June…LOL I even have a backlog of artwork I’m hoping to start working through 🤩 And I’d love to work on some of my fictional writings!
