Amazing Day

Wow! What a day! I didn’t exactly do what I expected today. Yet, I accomplished so much! I was just about to wind down for the day. But then decided I wanted to write up a short entry about what I did today.

Before I get into all that, I want to acknowledge that I slept long last night. I’ve been getting 6 and half to 7 hours nightly. For some reason last night, I got 8 and half. And I only woke up because I made it to my alarm…LOL This was the first morning in ages that I slept until my 7:30 “you really need to get up now” alarm…LOL My body must have needed it!

I did the last bit of our Bible study after I did my morning journal. Later in the evening, I did my full rundown of the week’s Bible study and completed it before dinner. This week’s lesson on Patience was amazing 🤩 I’m really enjoying the study we are doing this year! Thank you Cherie 🤗❤️

Aside from that, most of my day was about this website. I wrote and published a piece on a photo I took last night. I named it “Potential” and you can see it here. I copied the text of that post and turned it into an Instagram/Facebook post as well. I felt like sharing it 🥰

After that, I wanted to make a new feature for this website in the Writings section. I originally set that section up just like the Photos and Art sections. But before I even posted any writings, I realized it was missing the concept of chapters for such things as books. So I turned to the same Claude AI that helped me build the site last month. It took a few hours, but we enhanced that section to be able to handle chapters in the collections so that I could build a collection as a book. I took my old Vitamin G book from 3 years ago and started fleshing it out on this new site. You can check it out here. I’m not yet sure if I’ll keep it on the site. For now, it at least demonstrates the concept within this new design.

Something else I started on today was the blog series on our April vacation. I had already mentioned parts of it in other entries. But I wanted to dedicate special entries just for those days. I posted Part 1 tonight; which you can find here. Thanks to the new tagging system on this site, I have created a tag for the vacation that you can find here. All of the related posts will get that tag. For now, just Part 1 has it. I’ll add the others from before, along with the other parts I’ll be writing soon. They’ll all be grouped by that tag ❤️

From time to time, I popped into my work’s virtual desktop to see how things were going with our new app. It appears to have worked well and no one needed any support all day. I’m glad I was keeping an eye on things, though. Just in case 😉

I didn’t get around to working on any art today. Perhaps I will tomorrow? We shall see 🤭
