As I mentioned yesterday, this has been a good week. Today is starting off well too. I just finished part of this week’s Bible study. I’ve been enjoying being back in study. And I’m glad that I start my day this way again. For a time, I didn’t do this. Recently, I began doing it first thing again. It has really set the mood of the day. Before I do the study, I’ve continued doing my morning journal. That 5-10 minutes has been important to me this year. And then I dive into study on the days I do the Bible study.

I’m going to try to do a timestamp entry today. I’ve been wanting to do one. Especially now that I have this new website going. Let’s journey through my day, shall we? Happy FriYAY!!! And Happy May!!!

It has been quite the morning at work so far…LOL I’m employing what I’ve learned about patience…hehehe Also, my name is going around at work…LOL All in good ways. But far more than I’m accustomed to. It’s almost uncomfortable…LOL I was on a call with someone I hadn’t talked to in about a year. He mentioned the trouble I had with the new virtual desktop I was migrated to this week. I had no idea he was even in that loop on that project…LOL I’m also working on a new issue this week and having trouble communicating with the business folks. It happens. I know it’s a communication gap on my end. I can’t seem to ask the right questions sometimes…because the answers they give don’t make sense to the question I think I asked…LOL That is a common thing with me 😒

I dug around and found the answer to my question…hehehe I like days like today. I don’t stress out like I used to. So having a busy morning is nice. I think I’ve finally figured out what is going on with the issue that was brought up. At least part of the problem. It’s possible I’ll still find a wasp’s nest hidden in the system…LOL I also had a good phone call with Stephanie, Malachi’s mom. At one point during the call, I prayed with her. I love to pray with people. It’s one of the most amazing Gifts God has given to us ❤️

Whoa…what a day this has been. I had a quiet lunch. Including some shopping for my Donald Duck outfit 🤩 But when I go back online for work, that’s when my supervisor clocked out for the week. Funny thing is we rolled out a brand new application today…LOL It’s one that he created for the company and I’m just now getting up to speed with. 15 minutes after he left, someone needed something that we hadn’t gone over yet. About an hour after that, someone else also needed something that he and I hadn’t gone over yet…LOL I managed to take care of both issues. God gifted me a mind that can seem to resolve these problems quickly. I was tempted to be stressed out about it. I think the lessons from this year’s Bible study have helped me see how to apply Godly wisdom in these moments.

There was a main task that I needed to get done today. Every single time I’ve started to focus on it, something has come up to interrupt it…LOL And I’m still enjoying this day…LOL I have found Joy in being patient with the people I’ve worked with today. Including someone I mention in my Bible study notes this week. I didn’t name them, of course. But I do mention that there is someone I work with that tries my patience. Right in the middle of all this today, he called…LOL And I didn’t stress out about it because I’ve learned some things about patience this week…hehehe

I’m working a little later today to make sure no one needs support on our new app up until 5pm central time. Our main office is on central. So a lot of folks in today’s rollout are working until at least then. Later tonight, I’ll validate a deployment of a break-fix my super needed to do for a bug that was discovered this morning. We wanted it to go in after-hours. One of my roles is to manage our deployments 😁

I’m looking forward to having tacos tonight. I’m pretty much making them like I did on Tuesday…hehehe I always have enough of it to make it twice each week that I make tacos this way. I’ll make dinner after I logoff work at 6. My meals have been shifted by an hour all day. It wasn’t planned. It just sort of happened because of how the day went. I’m not complaining, though. I think it worked out well, actually. And I’ve enjoyed how busy today has been 🤩

The rest of the workday went well. I’ll be checking in on that deployment in an hour. And I’ll be keeping an eye on things tomorrow. There are staff that work on the weekends in the call center 😉 I miss working in a call center. Wow, that was more than 20 years ago…LOL

The tacos were great and I enjoyed a lovely walk around the lake. It has been nice to be walking again this week. I’m not sure how long it had been. I’ve been out 4 days this week, I think. I saw a lot more people out tonight than the other nights this week. I didn’t get to talk to anyone, though.

I think I’ll just relax the rest of the evening. It was another good day. I’m glad I didn’t stress out over the constant interruptions and busyness of the day. I just went with it…patiently 🤭 I’ll probably pop in in a bit to wrap up this journal entry. I’m glad I decided to do a timestamp one today 🤩

The deployment was a success. Alls well that the ends well…hehehe
