Labor Day 2026 at WDW
For Labor Day this year, I decided I would go to Walt Disney World. Instead of just winging it or setting a particular plan myself, I asked if Cherie would want to plan our day together there. I often share my experiences with her. And so, it always feels like she’s with me. She gladly accepted the challenge of designing my itinerary for the day. Well, her and Petey did…LOL Petey is the little dinosaur I got her back on my visit to EPCOT in June…hehehe
I wasn’t able to complete the full itinerary, though. I did everything she planned for EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. I ended up canceling my travels over to Magic Kingdom. The day was impacted by weather that set me at a slower pace than I would have liked. I normally would have had plenty of time for everything. But the delays caused by rain slowed things down. I can’t complain, though. Everything I did a EPCOT and Hollywood Studios made for an amazing day. The weather may have put a damper on the plans. But the rain didn’t dampen my spirit ❤️
It rained on me pretty much my entire drive over. It was actually a stormy day all day. Not just rain. I eventually outran the rain and arrived at EPCOT safe and dry. But the rain eventually caught up with me…LOL I had just enough time to go to the restroom, get into the park gate, and start to walk over to the Nemo ride. It was starting to rain on that walk. By the time I got into the ride queue inside, it was pouring outside.
I’ll not write everything about the day because I also did a vlog. I’ll let the vlog show what I did and talk about my experience. But here’s a quick rundown of what all I did:

I got very wet…LOL I brought an umbrella, but never used it. The rain I experienced when walking around was never very much. It was more of a drizzle and that was mostly after dinner. So, I just let my hat do its job to keep the rain off my face. My hat and shirts got pretty soaked, though. Yet, they also dried very quickly every time I got out of the rain. And the drive home was fine. I suppose my feet got a little wet too. But not too bad.
The vlog turned out to be 1 hour and 3 minutes. I thought about cutting the ride footage. But I decided it was okay to leave in. It was part of the experience, after all. Plus, with it being on YouTube, you don’t need to watch it all at once. It should pickup right where you left off if you need a break…hehehe
This was a fun vlog to record and edit! Here is Labor Day 2026 at Disney 🤩
