Thought Disorientation, Hot Water, and Stuck Inside

21 Days of Prayer and Fasting

I accidentally did tomorrow's prayer focus reading this morning...oops! So, I went back and read today's. I'll save tomorrow's for tomorrow. But it was a little disorienting this morning for a moment as I tried to refocus...hehehe

Today's prayer focus is for praying protection over those who hear the message of Hope that I share. Whether it is a direct conversation about salvation, or simply inspiring others by my testimony. This focus comes from John 17:13-19. Jesus knew He would be leaving the world. But He also knew His followers would remain. He wasn't asking God to remove us from the world, or our circumstances. He asked for God's protection over us while we remain in the world and go through all of the troubles it brings to our lives.

Father, thank You for Your protection over me. I ask for the same protection to be over all those who hear the message You pass through me. I have Hope in You. And as they place their Hope in You as well, this world will find a way to harm them. Please grant them the Blessing of Your favor and protection over their hearts, souls, and minds.

LORD, the church makes an impact in this world. As it continues to spread Your message of Hope and Light in a world of darkness, I pray that all those who hear the message will also be protected. As You send Your church into this world, I pray for their protection as well.

God, please be with the pastors and all those who hear Your message through them. As people come to believe in You through the pastors, please grant Your favor and protection over the hearts, souls, and minds of all the people who come to You.

This world is painful. Our lives are in Your hands. There is evil all around us. LORD, please protect us. Please give us Your strength to endure the troubles of this life. I pray this in Your Name, AMEN!

My Day

Well, I slept in again today. I probably shouldn't have...LOL I was a little disoriented in thought. But I was well rested...LOL

I dealt with a little bit of anxiety all day. I'm not quite sure where that was rooted. It wasn't debilitating in any way, though. I went about my day, minus my walks, like most other workdays 😃 And I had a very productive day at work!

As I mentioned above, I started off with the wrong day in my prayer devotional...LOL I had bookmarked tomorrow's instead of today's when I finished yesterday. It all worked out, though. I'll just reread it tomorrow and do my prayer. I realized it before I did my prayer...hehehe

I was stuck inside again today. The weather hasn't been great. But I can't complain. We need the rain and the colder temperatures are good. I love the cold now. I just don't like the mix of cold, wind, and rain for my walks...LOL But it isn't anything like the freezing temperatures up in Indiana!

I miss doing my creative writing. I'm hoping to get back to that next week. I have some things on my mind that I'd like to write. It's been building up creative pressure in my brain...LOL

I downloaded a new (to me) photo and video app to try on my phone. It's called Prequel. I went with the free trial. When it loaded, it offered me a $14.99/yr for life deal immediately...LOL I went ahead and signed up for that. If I don't like the app in the trial, I can cancel. If I don't like it after a year, I can still cancel. But if I do like it, it sounds like it will always be $14.99/yr...LOL Not a lot to lose with that deal...LOL

It seems nice. It has a lot of neat effects. For photos, the effects alone are worth it. But it also has a bunch of video stuff too. I hope the editor works well. We shall see!

I don't have a lot to say today. I didn't write throughout the day. I didn't have much time, actually. I was busy from one task to the next...hehehe

Another day of being inside all day meant I took my photo videos from inside again...LOL I didn't have much to choose from today. It was a busy day and I didn't look at much...LOL

As I was pouring my hot water for my evening snack, I thought I'd capture it. I'm glad to be using videos to do my photography for shots like this. That water was pretty hot and I shouldn't be fumbling around with a camera while I'm pouring...LOL But doing a video allowed me to concentrate on the water and just hope for the best. I thought it was good enough for this capture and it became the photo for today...hehehe

Wrapping Up

My day was full. My heart is full. No amount of thought disorientation, anxiety, or feeling stuck inside was able to kill my mood today. My heart posture is to look to God for strength to endure.

For a while now, I've felt like it's going to be okay. It may not feel great right now. It will get better. This is a moment. And moments always have an end. The next chapter is a page turn away.

I'm on a beautiful journey. I'm going to keep moving forward.
